Husband of the late Donna Jean.
Father of Brian (Lynn), Karen (James) Gregory, Jeff (Kathy) and Susan (Scott) Lewis.
Grandfather of Trevor, Ryan, Jessica and Morgan.
Preceded in death by four sisters.
Mr. McClain was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Visitation at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi (248) 348-1800, Thursday 3-9pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Instate Friday, at St. Gerald Church, 21300 Farmington Rd., Farmington at 10:30am with funeral liturgy at 11:00am. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, MI 48154 www.angelahospice.org
