Beloved husband of the late Florence now reunited.
Loving father of Gregory (Jackie) and Maria (Thomas) Kane.
Cherished grandfather of Brian, Justin, Katrina, Jessica, Suzanna, Lydia and 4 great grandchildren.
William served his country in World War II in the Army. He was a train enthusiast working for the Pier Marquette railroad. William was a man of classics, he liked classical music, old time movies from the silver screen era and classic radio. He was a big Audie Murphy fan and really enjoyed watching old Westerns.
A visitation for William will take place on Tuesday May 9th beginning at 11am at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave., until time of military honors at 12:30pm. William will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit Michigan.
