William A. Hurley
April 21, 1926- April 15, 2020
William Hurley passed away on April 15, 2020 at the great age of 93. William was survived by his children David (Tonya) Hurley, and Natalie (Steve) McDougall. He was a loving Papa to Zachary, Lauren, Alexandra, Nathaniel, and Nicholas. He was also survived by his sister, Marqueret Prickett. William was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Ann Hurley.
William was born in River Rogue and raised in Royal Oak, MI. until the age of 16 when he entered the U.S. Navy and fought in World War II. He returned from the war to finish his education and raised his family in Novi, Michigan where he lived until 2020.
He enjoyed golfing, stargazing/astronomy and attending grandchildren's events. He was helpful to many in his lifetime and beloved by all who knew him.
A ceremony honoring William's life will be scheduled when our country returns to health.
