William (Bill) F. Henning Jr. of Wixom, Michigan passed unexpectedly on January 7, 2022. He was born in Detroit on May 12, 1958.

Beloved husband of Rhoda Henning.

Dear father of Matthew (Rachel), Mark (Meghan), Thomas (Seth) and Luke; and grandfather of Billie and Louie.

Loving son of Shirley Henning and the late William Henning Sr.

Brother of Sherie (Randy) Eschels, Shannon (Sidney) Graham, Kelly (Philip) Sakalian, and Mike (Kim) Henning.

Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill retired from Ford Motor Company after 34 years. He was enjoying his retirement spending time with family, especially his four boys. Bill loved to travel to warm sunny destinations. One of his favorites being his annual family golf trip to Arizona. When he wasn't traveling, you could find him on a golf course, in a game of pool, working on a home project, or his most favorite, enjoying a pour in his whiskey room.

Bill was always smiling and had a way of making everyone at ease in his presence with his great sense of humor. He had a kind word for everyone. He was selfless, supporting, caring and an amazing person. Bill was a friend to many and he will be greatly missed.

Memorial gathering at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Instate Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Owen Catholic Church, 6869 Franklin Road, Bloomfield Hills from 10:30 AM until time of memorial mass 11:00 AM.
