Obituary

William ( Bill) Herbert Clark, Jr. was born in Detroit, MI on January 10, 1941. He was the oldest
child of William & Mary Clark, growing up with his brother Richard & sister Patricia.
Raised in the Detroit area, Bill went to Redford High and went on to serve four years in the
United States Navy, attending both Center for Creative Studies & Michigan State University,
later earning his MBA from Central Michigan University.
Bill had a short career in advertising and then went on to work with Ford Motor Company for the
next 30 years. Bill understood the value of hard work.
Bill married Kathleen (Young) in 1968 and created a wonderful family in their 56 years together from Detroit to Northville and finally to Novi, Michigan. Bill & Kathy wintered in Tallahassee, Florida for the last several years.
Bill was a lifelong learner, reader, and lover of all kinds of music. Bill's artistic flair was known
well, as demonstrated by hand made cards & doodles full of humor & love. Bill was an avid
golfer, and MSU die-hard fan. Bill could fix anything and he loved to crack a joke; any day was
a good day for a cigar, a card game, or a stick of spearmint gum.
William is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his sister, Patricia Powell, his children Jennifer
(Robert) Bugar, Jason (Kay) Clark, Michael Clark (Nicole DeLisle), Meghan Clark (Bill James)
