Vere was a dedicated police officer for the city of Novi for 30 years.  He received numerous commendations over his career.  He loved hunting and fishing and the outdoors.  He especially loved the Lovells/Lewiston area.  Vere was a friend to everyone he met and many viewed him as a best friend.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi 248-348-1800 Sunday from 3-8pm.
Prayer service Monday 9:30am at the  funeral home with procession to  Holy Family Church 24505 Meadowbrook, Novi ,  for visitation Monday 10:00am until the funeral liturgy at 10:30am
