Obituary

Age 74 of Commerce Twp., after courageously battling Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy for over 7 years. A son of the late Bernard and Margaret Snyder. He is survived by his loving wife Estelle, beloved children: Cindy Thomas (Jeff), Laura Wilczynski (John); step-children: Ron Wolok (Julie), Gail Pettaway (Jesse); treasured grandchildren: Zachary, Bradley Thomas; Brooke, Emily Wilczynski; Beloved step-grandchildren: Kyle, Brandon , Ryan Wolok; Taylor, Danielle, Cameron Pettaway; brothers: James (Gysele), Robert (Elaine); compassionate caregiver Dianna Greathouse. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Tom was born in Detroit and raised in Dearborn, MI. He was a physical education teacher at Warren Consolidated. Tom loved sports, traveling, playing cards and having fun. He was a laid-back, easy going guy who loved life. He will be missed dearly. Visitation Thursday, March 18 from 4-9 PM at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi (248) 348-1800. Instate 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass Friday, March 19 at 10 AM at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 West Twelve Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
