T.J. Rivard, passed peacefully in Livonia on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 76.
Loving father of Matt (Wendy) Rivard, Michelle (Jon) Godre; proud grandfather of Ashley Godre, Alexandra Godre, Gabrielle Godre, Olivia Rivard, and Madelyn Rivard; great-grandfather to Noah and Chloe; dear brother of the late Lacel (Judy) Rivard and Eileen (Kurt) Eckert; former husband of Phyllis Rivard; uncle to Kenneth (Linda) Rivard, Colleen Strelak, Edward (Erin) Eckert, Mike (Debbie) Eckert, Kathy (Dave) Eckenrode, Bob Eckert, and the late Tom Eckert, Paul Rivard; great uncle to Billy Rivard, Kenneth Rivard, Jr., Cynthia Rivard, Addison Rivard, Reagen Rivard, Nate Strelak, Mike Strelak, Jr., Kevin Strelak, and Alyce Strelak. Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Instate Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:30 AM until time of funeral liturgy 11:00 AM. Due to the pandemic situation covid-19 protocol will be followed with mask required and social distancing.
