Thomas had an unwavering love for music, particularly classic rock, which was the soundtrack to his vibrant life. His enthusiasm for collecting slot cars was matched only by his affinity for classic cars.
A devoted sports fan, Thomas cheered wholeheartedly for the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions. His loyalty to his favorite teams was just one example of the deep sense of loyalty and generosity that defined his character. After getting to know each other over the phone for a few weeks, their first meeting in person was magical, and it was love at first sight. Thomas proposed to JoAnne just a few hours later, and they enjoyed 33 years of a deeply loving and devoted marriage.
Thomas is survived by his cherished wife, JoAnne; his loving daughter, Amber; his brother, Paul; his sisters, Pam (Larry) and Donna; and his adored pet cats, Autumn, Buster, Sam, Jack, and Obie.
