Theresa Johanna Stawara passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Norbert P Stawara for 69 years. She was born to the late Stanley and Mary Kobak, in Detroit, Michigan. Loving mother of Michael (Laura), the late James (Susan), Michelle (Chet) Jacques, Denise (Craig) Schmidt and Noreen. Beloved grandmother of Emilie (Kevin) Meiselbsbach, Erin Van Tiem, Lauren (Brady) Crosby, Elizabeth Burr and Phillip Mithen. She was also blessed to be great grandmother and Busia of Thomas, James, Chloe, Brooklyn, Kellen, Jordyn and Cash. She is proceeded in death by her brothers Raymond, Walter, Leonard, Chester and Stanley. She is also survived by her twin sister Rita Garbus and many beloved brother in laws, sister in laws, and nieces and nephews. Theresa's life was filled with family and love. She made sure her family stayed close with Sunday dinners every week and Holiday celebrations. We love you mom!

Due to Covid, the funeral will be a small private ceremony.
