Theresa Mary Coppola

February 1, 1939 - November 22, 2022

On November 22, 2022, Theresa Mary Coppola passed away peacefully at age 83. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 1, 1939 to Achille and Carlotta Passucci. Theresa married her sweetheart, Giuseppe Coppola on June 30, 1962.


Theresa was a devoted wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and took great pride in her unconditional support for all of her husband's endeavors. She shared an appreciation of classic cars alongside her husband. Theresa also loved the holiday season. She found immense joy in preparing holiday meals for her family and her Christmas Eve gatherings were unrivaled. Lastly, she was an animal lover, her dog Spencer could always be found at her side until the end.



Theresa is survived by her children Anita (Giuseppe), Carolyn (Joe), Nick (Jennifer), and Anthony. Her grandchildren Elena (Alan), Donna (Christopher), Anthony, Michael, Dominic, Jared, Natalie, Madelynn, and Anthony Jr. Her great-grandchildren Francesca, Victoria, Alexandra, and Lina. She also leaves behind her faithful and loving dog Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 48 years Giuseppe, and brother Nick.


A visitation for Theresa will take place at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home on Sunday November 27, 2022, beginning at 2pm until 6pm with a rosary at 5:30pm.

In state at Church of The Holy Family 24505 Meadowbrook Novi Monday November 28, 2022, from 10:00am until the funeral Liturgy at 10:30am.

Entombment will be in Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia Michigan.
