Ted was born on October 20, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Herman and Bertha (Hauck) Schultz. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army. Following his service, Ted built a long and respected career as a wood model maker at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 40 years, earning admiration for his precision, skill, and work ethic.
A man of many talents and interests, Ted enjoyed boating, golfing, bowling, and scuba diving. His proudest accomplishments, however, were found in his remarkable woodworking abilities and his reputation as someone who could fix or build just about anything. Ted was known as a very smart, capable, and resourceful man.
Above all, Ted was loving, honest, and loyal. He deeply cherished his family, his faith, and time spent on the water. His quiet strength and steady presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ted is survived by his beloved son, Marty (Janet) Schultz; his daughter, Karen Brown; his grandchildren, Allee Anderson and Andrew Schultz; and his sister, Shirley Cassidy.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Lucille Schultz; his parents, Herman and Bertha Schultz; and his brothers, Collin and Duane Schultz.
