Shirley Mae Hansen (nee Greene)
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Richard, (dec. 1974) and proud mother of David Michael, Brian Anton (Julie), Jeffrey John (Rhonda), and Kenley Sue Riggs. Grandmother to the late Mark and Keith Hansen, Shayna and Kenneth Hansen, Steven and Caitlin Hansen, and Kristen (Brandon) Shortridge. Great Grandmother 'Gigi' to Madison and Wyatt Shortridge and Madison and Alayna. Daughter of the late Frances (Martin) and John Greene. Beloved sister to the late Phyllis Greene Milbrand and beloved aunt to Dayna Milbrand, Cheryl (James) Brennan, Deborah Drechsler, and Jon Kris (Janet) Milbrand.
Mrs. Hansen will be sorely missed for her non judgmental countenance, quietly practiced Catholic faith, warm smile and keen sense of humor; all qualities she exhibited during her 88 years. She was employed at Michigan Colleges' Foundation for three decades.
Mrs. Hansen died on January 31st. Visitation will be held at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi on Mon. Feb. 4, 2013 from 2 – 9 p.m. Mrs. Hansen will be in state Tues. Feb. 5, 2013 at Holy Family Church 24505 Meadowbrook Novi  from 10:00am until  the funeral liturgy at 10:30 a.m.
