It is with heavy hearts that Tracy Storbeck, Doug (Kelly) Storbeck and Mark (Becky) Storbeck announce the passing of their beloved brother, Scott Storbeck, who left this world on April 9th, 2023, after a brief struggle with cancer. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Scott was an award winning and distinguished Executive Chef. However, his passion for cooking was not the only aspect of his life that made him remarkable. He was a caring and devoted family member who loved his relatives deeply. Scott is survived by his mother Anna T. Storbeck, his siblings Tracy, Mark, and Doug Storbeck, his niece AnnaMarie and nephews: Mason, Noah, Maxwell, Owen, and Lucas, and his aunt and uncle Sigmund and Madeline Latarski, as well as by his cousins Julie Ann Aaron and Keith Latarski.
Scott was a man with a warm smile, a gentle soul, and a generous spirit. He had an unwavering love for his family, friends, and colleagues. His love for the Detroit Tigers was another passion that he held close to his heart. Scott touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, compassion, and warmth. Although Scott's passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his memory will always remain. We will forever cherish the time we spent with him and the joy he brought to our lives. We ask that you keep the Storbeck family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Scott, our dear brother. You are missed, and your memory will always live on in our hearts. #alwaysatiger
