Scott William Schramm, age 70,
passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at Angela Hospice in Livonia, Michigan, holding hands with his wife Susan and in the company of dear friends .
Beloved husband of Susan (Mikolajczak) for 38 wonderful years, Scott was a devoted partner, son, brother, and friend. He was born on December 13, 1954, to the late Joyce (Jeanette) and William Edward Schramm. He is also survived by his sister Gail (Ralph) Sharpe.
Scott was a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees in engineering. His career in the automotive industry spanned several decades, during which he served in leadership roles with Jeep, Chrysler, and U.S. Car. After retirement, his expertise led him to serve as a consultant for the Department of Defense in Warren, MI. In Washington D.C while working for Chrysler he worked for Regulatory and Technical Affairs.
Outside of his professional accomplishments, Scott was a man of many passions. He enjoyed the thrill of car racing, the craftsmanship of model making, the tranquility of sailing, and the excitement of NHL hockey teams with a Robertson playing on it.
His keen intellect, steady guidance, and warm sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on 11 am, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 Ten Mile Rd., Novi, MI 48374. Visitation will be 10:30 am until time of mass at church.
