Sally was a powerful, luminous and beautiful spirit. To those who had the great privilege of being near her, she was known for her brilliant mind, her humor, her beauty, her endurance and her love. Throughout her life she was given challenge, she was given heartache, she experienced loss and with each challenge came triumph. She had the fortitude, the courage and the heart to rise above any obstacle. She thrived, and dreamed higher and harder than most people can imagine. She was a bright and cheerful star. Meant for a spotlight, she blew everyone away with her quick wit and contagious energy that was matched by no one else in this world. She sang for many years, sharing her voice in joyful chorus with The Sweet Adelines and many other lucky chorus groups. She was ready to make you smile, and got an easy laugh out of anyone nearby. She performed on Johnny Carson and stumped his band with her beautiful voice. She was always a star, especially among her friends and family. She was an athlete, loving baseball from the day she was born. An avid Tigers fan, she took her love of baseball to the field and pitched for 40 years with her daughter Deanna. With her daughter Deb, she had a companion and friendship that was kindred, deep, and special. Her only son Casey was the apple of her eye, her sonny-boy. She prided herself in knowing his favorites, and the things that comforted him. She believed in him with all her heart, as she did with all of her children. Her niece Lisa would always hold a unique and special place in her heart as well. She is survived by her little sister Sylvia, whom she always protected and loved with all of her Irish might. She is also survived by her 2 daughters Deborah(Lou) Gorenc and Deanna(Doug Zubke) Henderson and son, Casey(Linda) Copley , 7 grandchildren(The Magnificent Seven) and 9 great grandchildren (with the tenth on the way). A love which can now burn eternal. God rest their souls, and God keep your brilliant star named Sarah. No one in this world has ever shined like Sarah "Sally" Copley
