Obituary

Ruth Wick Williams, age 92, of Novi, MI (formerly of Williamsburg, MI) died January 1, 2019.
Ruth was born May 24, 1926 in West Sunbury, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Edith Wick. On June 15, 1948 she married Clyde T. Williams of Hollidaysburg, Pa. at Grove City College where they both had graduated.
Ruth worked as an accountant and personnel director at Digital Electronics Automation, Inc. (DEA) in Livonia, MI. Before joining DEA, she worked as an accountant for Summerton, Gerhart, O'Hara and Rowe in Detroit, Michigan.
Ruth's life was one of service to her family, community and church. Ruth was a Deacon, Trustee, and an ordained Elder of the Presbyterian Church. She was most recently a member of Faith Community Presbyterian Church in Novi, MI after a transfer from the First Presbyterian Church of Elk Rapids and Westminster Church of Detroit. Ruth was an avid investor and actively organized investment groups to educate others on fundamentals of investing. In retirement, Ruth was active at the Fox Run Community in Novi.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Rick) Patterson of Rapid City, Patricia (Larry) Keys of Williamsburg and Sharon (Len) Berman of Novi; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Jen) Keys, Scott (Lisa) Keys, Marisa (Joe) Kaffenberger, Matthew (Amanda) Patterson, Sarah Berman, Rebecca Berman, and Joey Berman; nine great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brooke, Landon, Zoe and Luke Keys; Drew and Lily Kaffenberger; Alexandra and Declan Patterson. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Edith Wick, husband Clyde and her son, Thomas Wick Williams; brother Robert Wick and sister Jean Kuntz.
A memorial service will be held 12pm at the Faith Community Presbyterian Church 44400 W. Ten Mile Rd. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 with Pastor Daniel Michalek officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be served. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in West Sunbury Union Cemetery, West Sunbury, PA.
