Perry, Ruth Spore (of Novi, MI, formerly of Sarasota, FL, and Deerfield,IL ) Died August 7, 2012, age 85.She grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma and moved to Sarasota in 1987 from LakeBluff, IL. In 2006 she moved to Novi, MI. She earned a bachelor's andmaster's degree in music from the University of Michigan. She was a memberof Gamma Phi Beta sorority and the Bird Key Yacht Club. She was married tothe late Wilbur J. Perry for 54 years.Survivors include children Marsha Perry Volchoff and Alan (Esther) Perry,and grandchildren Sarah, Margaret, Jacob, Matthew and Kyle.Sister of Hazel Colvig and the late Patricia Tompkins.
