Obituary

Rose V. Lencione, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the age of 98. In 1949, Rose married the love of her life of 70 years who preceded her in death in 2020. They met at the Graystone Ballroom in Detroit.

She was the loving mother of Nancy (Larry) English and the late Michael Lencione. Proud Nona of Thomas English, Patrick (Erika) English, Victoria (Joe Long) Lencione, and Catherine Lencione. Great Nona to Zachary and Carter English. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Andrea Lencione. Rose was preceded in death by her sisters Catherine Migedt and Theresa Barnett, as well as by her brothers Joseph Crea, James Crea, and Dominic Crea.

Rose was a bookkeeper at a jewelry store until her son Michael was born, and she stayed home to take care of her family. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and held many different officer positions. She was always ready to devote her time to charity. Rose cherished her family more than words can express, and she will be forever loved and missed, until we meet again.
