Webster, Rosalie Paula (Beke) died peacefully July 23, 2025, at Rose Court (Fox Run) Novi, Michigan. Rosalie Paula Beke was born May 26, 1939, at Providence Hospital in Detroit to Paul and Rose (Papp) Beke. Rose wanted her named Paula. After Rose told the nurse the baby's name, Paul went to the nurses' station and changed it to Rosalie Paula. Rosalie grew up in Delray, Detroit and Lincoln Park. She was Lincoln Park High School's valedictorian in 1957. She attended Wayne State and graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She worked as a librarian at Huntington School in Riverview for a number of years. She married Richard Mahon Webster in 1971 and soon moved to Toledo, Ohio. She received her Master of Education degree from the University of Toledo in 1978. Rosalie was a gifted artist and designed many programs for the music department at the university where Richard was a professor. Rosalie remained a Toledo resident until 2017 when she moved to the Fox Run Community, Novi, MI. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Lisa (late Douglas) Lesley, David Shaw, Kathryn Shaw, John (Diana) Parks, Michael Parks and Missy (David) Snell as well as many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Rose and Paul Beke, husband Richard Webster, sisters and brothers in law Kathryn (D. James) Greiner, Juliette (Eugene F.) Shaw and "fur babies" Daisy and Dickens.
Prayer service 5pm Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375 with visitation from 4 pm until time of prayer service. Interment will be 11:30 am Monday, July 28, 2025, at Toledo Memorial Park 6382 Monroe St. Sylvania, OH 43560.
