Ron Fantino, 78, of Novi, MI, passed away on December 17, 2024, peacefully at home and surrounded by family.

He was born in the Bronx, NY, on April 7, 1946, the son of the late Gaetano and Bridgette Fantino. Ron was proud of his Italian heritage and often reflected on his tight-knit family ties. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lin, of 48 years and is survived by his daughter, Christy, and his two sons, Mark and Ryan.

Ron first met Lin in Scarsdale, NY 1969, and they immediately bonded over their shared faith. After marrying in June 1972 in New Canaan, CT, they eventually moved to Novi, MI, where they put down roots. After becoming a dad, Ron loved spending time with his children.

Throughout his life, Ron had a deep connection to his church and gave back to his community whenever he could. His love for learning resulted in a Master's in Business, which he achieved while working and raising a family. Ron loved baseball and rooted for the New York Yankees, his home team. He taught Christy, Mark, and Ryan to swim as they were growing up and enjoyed swimming throughout his life.
