Beloved husband of Marion E. for 70 years.
Loving father of Christina Austin and the late Cynthia Lankston.
Grandfather of Kimberly and Nicole Austin.
Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Erna Marten, sister, Helen Strauch and brother, Arthur Marten.
Mr. Marten was a Veteran of WWII in the Army Air Corps. He spent many hours volunteering after retirement and was considered a professional volunteer.
Visitation Thursday 4-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi 248- 348 -1800. Graveside services 10 am Friday, May 26, 2017 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
