Robert Norman "Bob" Longuski, aged 91, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Novi,
Michigan. Born on February 5, 1933, in Ubly, Michigan, Bob was a beloved figure in his
community and a devoted family man.
Bob was raised in the Michigan Thumb farm country and was integral in running the family dairy
farm during his early years. He later ventured into the tool-making industry with his father,
supporting automotive manufacturers in Southeast Michigan. Bob also had a passion for music,
playing accordion in a local Polka band that performed at numerous community events and
weddings.
Bob cherished his time in West Branch, Michigan, where he enjoyed deer hunting with his sons
and grandsons. His love for his family was evident through the deep connections he maintained
throughout his life.
He is survived by his first wife, Patty (Ross) Longuski; daughter, Lynn (Dave) Norman; sons,
Robert (Roxanne) Longuski, Jim Longuski, Kirk (Rose) Longuski, Dewey (Anna) Longuski; and
several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Bob was preceded in death
by his parents, Joseph and Rose (Kazefky) Longuski; second wife, Camille Sanders; and son,
Joe Longuski
Visitation will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, 48375 on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. During visitation and beginning at 6:00 pm, a Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home. A Private Funeral Mass will be held the next morning. Bob's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
