Robert (Bob) Bernard Kelley (Kieliszewski) a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on February 13, 1934, Bob lived a life defined by faith, hard work, loyalty, and the quiet strength he offered to those he loved.
A proud retiree of Ford Motor Company, Bob dedicated decades of his life to his profession. His long and successful career was a testament to his legendary work ethic and his commitment to providing for those he held dear. He was known among his colleagues for his reliability and steady presence. His favorite advice for his loved ones was twofold: make sure you always give 110% and being 10 minutes early is being on time.
Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, honorably serving his country for several years. He continued his service as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served in several capacities at their church, St. Priscilla's.
The true centerpiece of Bob's life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Marge) Kelley (Purgiel) with whom he shared 68 years of joy, memories, challenges, and triumphs. Together, they were the foundation of a large and loving family that will continue to be blessed by his love.
The senior Kelleys pursued many fabulous activities together. Avid sports watchers (especially his children/grandchildren), devoted MSU Spartans, exotic and numerous travel adventures, golf enthusiasts, and prolific readers, they shared all this and more.
Bob is also survived by his children Greg (Cindy) Kelley, Kevin (Mary) Kelley, Kris (Bob) Peterson, Karen (Dan) O'Brien, and Mary (Kurt) Barton. His grandchildren Emily, Maggie, Ian, Alyssa, Lindsey, David, Kaylee, Quinton, Wyatt, Jacob, and Hannah will also dearly miss their Papa; as well as great-grandchildren Aliyah, Ethan, Aubrey, Charlotte, Apollo, and Leona will miss their Jaja.
He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Mary Kieliszewski, his siblings Richard Kelley and Mary Lou Wyrembelski, and his two favorite aunts Rose Daly and Sister Mary Ida.
