Anstett, Robert A. "Bob". July 23, 2023. Age 92. Bob lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love and family. Bob was born on July 2, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Albert Victor and Cora Chlotilda (Gehl) Anstett.
He was married to Estelle (Ronayne) for an impressive 64 years and together they had three children: Paul Andrew Anstett (married to Monica), John Ronanye Anstett (married to Joan), and Jill Marie McBride (married to Michael). Bob was also a proud grandfather to Patrick (married to Rachael) Joseph (married to Stephanie), Alexandria (married to Tristan), Bridget, Brian, and David, and a great grandfather to Sullivan, Liam, and Wilson.
Throughout his life, Bob worked as a tax accountant for both the IRS and Ford Motor Company. He had diverse interests, enjoying activities such as golfing, playing bridge, and fishing. He also served as a Veteran in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict
The visitation to pay respects to Bob will be held 1-5 pm, Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home located at 41555 Grand River Novi, MI 48375, with a rosary at 3:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am, Monday, July 31, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Rd, Novi, MI 48375, with visitation starting at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Angela Hospice or the Capuchins Soup Kitchen. Bob's cremains will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
