Beloved husband of Ida and the late Louise.
Loving father of Richard Troost Jr., Sue (Mark) Pierce, Steve (Beth) and the late Nancy.
Dear grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of five.
Brother of Mary Lou Shadle.
Mr. Troost was a graduate from the University of Michigan, with an M.B.A degree. He retired from General Motors as The General Auditor.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Friday November 18, at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church Rd, West Bloomfield.
Memorial donations may be made to the Fox Run Benevolent Care Fund or the Fox Run Student Scholarship Fund.
