Richard Vincent Lisowski, known to many as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Commerce Township at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary T. Lisowski, sharing 59 years of love and companionship together.
Richard was the loving father of Tom Lisowski, Dave (Pam) Lisowski, and Richard (Laura) Lisowski, who were his pride and joy throughout his life. He was a dear grandfather to six grandchildren and a great grandfather to six, showering them with affection and wisdom.
Mr. Lisowski dedicated over 40 years of his life to the grocery business, retiring in 1993. His hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on all those he served and worked alongside.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, located at 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a scripture reading at 7:00 PM. On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, there will be visitation at the Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral liturgy at 10:30 AM.
Richard will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, at a later date.
