In Memoriam: Richard Scott Haddad
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Scott Haddad, who departed this world on December 8, 2023, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Richard was born on May 23, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John Peter and Marlene (Geddis) Haddad.
Richard was a devoted husband to the late Clara (Guthrie) Haddad. He is survived by his mother, Marlene (Dr. Philip) Jackson, and was the dear brother of John William Haddad and the late Mark Haddad. He leaves behind his nephew, John Robert Haddad.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 4-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home located at 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 11 am at the same location.
Richard was the proud owner and operator of Rich and Debbie Trucking Company. His dedication and hard work were evident in the success of his business. He found joy in the open road, navigating his truck through countless miles.
Away from work, Richard had a passion for boating that brought him tranquility and relaxation. Whether he was on the water or behind the wheel of his truck, he found solace in these simple pleasures.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Juvenile Diabetes or the ASCPA in honor of Richard's caring spirit towards both children and animals.
Richard will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, a place of peaceful repose where he will be surrounded by the serenity he found in nature throughout his life.
In the memory of Richard Scott Haddad, may we find comfort in the legacy of love, hard work, and the simple joys he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
