Rian Gerald Shinske, 51, passed away on May 21, 2023. Rian was born on May 4, 1972, to Gerald and Dolores Shinske.
He graduated from Lakeland High School and studied at Michigan State University. After college, he embarked on a career in contracting services. He was a hard worker who took great pride in providing people with excellent results. He had a true flare for design and seemed to make friends with the customers he serviced.
He was the fiercely proud father of daughter Savannah Rian Shinske. He was the loyal brother to Rosheen Ann Shinske and Drew Michael (Amanda) Shinske. He was the extremely fun uncle to Shane Krechter, Darius Mitchell, Brennan Shinske, Mackenzie Shinske, and London Schrack.
Rian had many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in the United States and Ireland. Rian lived his life surrounded by many friends. Some he had known his whole life and others that he had just met. He also leaves behind his kayak partner Kooza.
Rian was preceded in death by his father Gerald David Shinske and grandparents August and Helen Shinske and, Albert and Bridget Walsh.
Rian left everyone he met better for having known him and forever grateful for the opportunity to have met a true original spirit.
