Rawland Storm, age 76, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family after a 5 year battle with lung cancer. A devoted husband, beloved father, cherished grandfather, and gentle soul, Rawland touched many lives with his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita, of almost 48 years, his two devoted daughters, Dayna Wilson (Brad) & Kimberly Belanger (Daniel) and five adoring grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Rawland worked as a teacher and had a deep passion for nurturing minds and hearts. He carried that same spirit into his personal life, where his love for writing poetry and gardening reflected his thoughtful nature and deep appreciation for life's simple, beautiful moments. Whether tending to his garden or penning verses, Rawland found peace and purpose in the everyday.
His deep love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his gentle presence will be missed beyond words.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6 from 1-5 pm, with a service at 5 pm. Private family burial will be held on Monday at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
