Peggy Tacchella, beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on September 24, 1935, Peggy's life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering kindness.

Throughout her life, Peggy found joy in the simple pleasures. Her passion for gardening nurtured not only her beloved plants but also her soul. She found solace and inspiration among the blooms, often spending hours cultivating her garden with tender care. Peggy's artistic spirit found expression through her talent for painting portraits and still life scenes, as well as her skillful craft projects, each piece a reflection of her creativity and passion.

Professionally, Peggy was a dedicated and diligent worker. With a career spanning many years as a secretary and administrative assistant, she exemplified perseverance and commitment. Even after retiring, her strong work ethic led her back to her secretarial duties for another decade, a testament to her dedication and sense of responsibility.

At home, Peggy's love knew no bounds. As an exemplary housewife, she showered her family with care and affection, creating a warm and nurturing environment where love and laughter abounded. Her devotion to her husband, Cris, whom she met as a young teenager and reunited with later in life, was unwavering. Together, they shared countless adventures, traveling the world, embarking on cruises, and exploring the picturesque slopes of Switzerland, Austria, and the Western United States.

Peggy's generous spirit extended beyond her family and friends. Known for her boundless compassion, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her mailbox overflowed with requests from various charities, a testament to her selflessness and generosity.

Visitation to honor Peggy's life will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375, on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 pm. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church in Novi, starting at 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Peggy's final resting place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy can be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen , continuing her legacy of compassion and kindness. Peggy's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, forever cherished and deeply missed.
