Husband of Louise and the late Joan.
Father of Thomas (Stacie), Don (Kathy), Pat (Dan) Petroskey, John (Paula), Anne (Steve) White and Paul (Edna). Stepfather of Michael (Debbie) Villaire, David (Dawn) Villaire and Cathy (Dave) Abbott.
Grandfather of 25 and Great Grandfather of 3.
Brother of James (Hillary) and the late Vincent and Donald.
Proud veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Holbel loved working on his farm.
Visitation Friday 2-9pm with a Scripture Service at 7pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi (248) 248-1800. Instate at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Rd., Novi, Saturday 10:30am with funeral liturgy to follow at 11am. Burial will take place in Oakland Hills Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. John Hospice www.stjohn.org or The American Heart Association www.americanheart.org
