Paul E. Buchanan, age 60, of Farmington, MI, passed away suddenly on June 5, 2026. Devoted husband of Mary, loving father of Chloe (Kyle) Bailey and Tim (Morgan) Gagern, proud grandpa to Juniper and Josephine, dedicated stepfather to Katie (Phil) Clark and Scott Keyser, and doting owner of Louie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Paul.

He leaves behind his brothers, Rick (Linda) Buchanan and Tom Buchanan, and his sisters, Kathy (Terry) Byerle, Mary Blattler, and Cheryl Biasutto, his sisters and brothers-in-law, along with several nieces and nephews.

Paul spent much of his life establishing Generations Cremation & Funeral Service, where he worked with Tim until 2024. He was well respected in the industry for his hard work, honesty, and his commitment to doing the right thing. He was loved by his family and friends for his kind and generous spirit. He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by the many graced with getting to know him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10, at O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home located at 41555 Grand River Ave, in Novi, MI. The family will gather from 3 to 4 PM, and all others are welcome between 4 and 8 PM. A small, informal service will be held around 6 PM.
