Patricia Mary Vincent, affectionately known as "Patty" passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, embraced by her husband, and guided to heaven by the steady embrace of her beloved.
Born January 28, 1964, Patty lived a life marked by faith, love, service, and devotion to those she cherished.
She was the beloved wife of Robert Richard for 29 years with 10 years together prior to marriage and the loving mother of Sean, Cecilia, and Mary Faith. She was the dear sister of John (Sue) Vincent, Mary (Dan Smoke) Vincent, Tim Vincent, Eileen Houx, Kathleen (Phil) Guysekey, Mike Vincent, Brigid (Gary) Marley, Tom (Sue) Vincent, Gerry (Kerry) Vincent, Bill (Tracey) Vincent, and Maureen (Paul) Sarnacki. Patty is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Patty will be joining her Father John, Mother Mary Virginia, and her brother Michael Vincent in the Kingdom of Heaven.
After graduating from the University of Detroit, Patty began her career in finance before marrying Rob and embarking on a European adventure for over a year. From Vienna to Ireland, Turkey to Norway, and other countries in-between, she took every new adventure as a life expanding experience. Upon returning, Patty found their lifelong home, where she dedicated herself to raising her family and serving her community. Patty later served as the Executive Director of the McCarty Cancer Foundation then as President of The Dime Group, where her leadership, compassion, and commitment to helping others left a lasting legacy.
Patty was an avid walker who loved the outdoors. Her greatest joy, however, came from time spent with her children, family, and friends. Whether the time was spent at her family cottage in Manistee, MI or hosting at her home, this is where she was her happiest, Her warmth, humor, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
Patty's life was a gift to everyone who knew her, a testament to faith, love, and the enduring strength of family. She touched countless lives with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering kindness, leaving behind a legacy of grace, service, and friendship. Those who knew her carry memories of thoughtful conversations and acts of compassion big and small. Patty will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she brightened, and she will be forever remembered in the stories we tell and the hearts she touched.
Visitation will be held at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, on Wednesday from 4:00–8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church, 46325 W. 10 Mile, Novi, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
