Age 67, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Patrick and Marie "Toots" (Mayer) Ryan. Pattie attended St. Vincent de Paul Elementary and then graduated from Redford High School in 1969. On November 9, 1991 she married William Taylor at St. Aloysius Parish in Detroit.

Pattie worked for Children's Hospital of Michigan as a Pharmacy Technician and also in the EEG department. She enjoyed her Irish heritage, expressing her nationality in many ways including travel to Tipperary, Ireland in November of 2018 to see where her family originated. Pattie also loved music, especially the Beatles and saw them in concert in 1966. In addition, she also enjoyed raising French Bulldogs. Pattie was a great cook, and passionately loved spending time with family and friends, including dedicating many hours of caretaking to her family members in need. Pattie's most treasured accomplishments was her strong Catholic faith, and her love and devotion for family. Pattie valiantly battled her illness, with so much dignity and courage. She never complained and was an example of how to conduct oneself in difficult times. She is truly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother she is survived by her husband Bill, her children: Michelle (Brad) Martin of Columbus, WI., Tanya C. Denison, Bill (Cathy) Taylor, Laura and Elizabeth Taylor all of Dearborn Heights. Eleven Grandchildren: Julia Martin, Aaron, Cole, Drew, Reese and Zachary Denison, Calvin, Quinn, Lucan, (and one baby girl on the way), and Harper Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14th from 4:00-8:00 pm at O'Brien and Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48375 where a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N. Territorial Road, Plymouth, MI 48170 on Saturday, June 15th at 11:30am where she will lie in state from 11:00am. until the time of service. Burial will be 10:00am. Monday, June 17th. at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, MI. Those desiring may make contributions to: METAvivor Research Foundation in memory of Pattie.
