Patricia Anne Caplin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated educator, passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 77. Patricia was born on January 25, 1947, and lived a life filled with love, faith, and service.
Patricia was the cherished wife of Larry Caplin, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story began through a series of dinner invitations extended by Patricia's father, who worked alongside Larry. These dinners led to a deep and lasting connection that culminated in a beautiful marriage.
As a devoted mother, Patricia raised three children: Russell Jr. (Kelly), Lisa Marie (Damien), and Jonathan Joseph (Laura). Her love and guidance extended to her seven grandchildren: Elliot, Will, Thomas, Graham, Alice, Molly, and Emmett, who brought immense joy to her life.
Patricia dedicated her career to nurturing young minds as a teacher at Prince of Peace. Her commitment to education and her faith was evident in her active involvement in her church community. She was a beacon of kindness, cleverness, consideration, and joy, touching the lives of her family, students, and all who knew her.
In her free time, Patricia enjoyed reading, crafting, solving puzzles, and watching game shows, often outpacing the contestants with her sharp mind. Her enthusiasm for life and her jovial spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
