Patricia "Pat" Ann Keys, 69, of Elk Rapids, Michigan, passed away on October 21, 2022, after years of battling Parkinson's disease.

Pat was born on December 11, 1952, to Clyde and Ruth Williams in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Redford High School in Detroit in 1971. In 1969, Pat met Larry Keys at Redford High School, they married in September 1975, and they recently celebrated 47 years of marriage.

In 2010, Pat retired from her daycare business. Following her retirement, Larry and Pat lived in Elk Rapids where she often enjoyed visits from her family as well as volunteering for the Elk Rapids Garden Club.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tom. She was a loving mother of Ryan (Jen) and Scott (Lisa) and a cherished grandmother of Lauren, Brooke, Landon, Zoe and Luke. She was loved by her sisters Barb (Rick) and Sharon (Len) and was a proud aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

At a later date, a Celebration of Life memorial will be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkinson's research. Two foundations the family supports are the Michael J. Fox and the Kirk Gibson Foundation .
