Nona Mae Kerr Our Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend has  gone home to be with Jesus. Our hearts break at times because we no longer will see her smile, hold her hand or kiss her face. Mom always said  "The Lord never gives you more than you can handle."  Her faith was strong and shown throughout her life. Mom left a plethora of words about her wishes.  She was an incredible strong and amazing women and she touched the lives of many.  We were so blessed she was in our lives and she will live forever in our hearts. She requested a program be made with the 23rd psalm on the front and inside "Because of the Birth, the Life, the Death and Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Mom went into the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 18th at 7:42pm.  She was surrounded  by loving family members.  I was so blessed to have the opportunity to hold her hand, kiss her face as she looked at me listening to how much she loved that we would all be okay, that we would miss her that she would live forever in our hearts and Jesus was waiting for her with open arms. Mom will be with Jesus for eternity and waits for all of us, who have accepted Jesus as Our Lord and Savior.  We will be with her again. Mom has been an amazing role model as Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, William H. Kerr and her son Keith D. Kerr.  She leaves her sons Ralph (Carol), Carl (Rosalie), Alan (Judy), her daughter Karen (Ron) Bashista.  Her grandchildren, Dwayne Kerr, Kimberlee (Mike) Quinn, Adam (Mary) Grabowski, Kristi Kerr-Cook (Brad Cook), Jamie and Jason Brown, Zachary and Amanda Bashista. Her great grandchildren, Cienna, Matt, Dominic, Ashley, Racquel, Chase, Christian, Skylar, Chris, Noah, Kerrigan, Mia and Nolan.
Visitation will be Wednesday 3-6pm with funeral service at 6pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi
