Obituary

Nancy L. Miller, of Bonita Springs, FL. and Novi, MI., entered into eternal life on June 21, 2024 from her home in Novi, Michigan. She was surrounded by the love and prayers of her family and dear friends both near and far. She was very proud to be 89 3/4 years old.

Nancy was born in Chicago, IL. on September 21. 1934, to Fred and Helen (Rathnow) Christiansen. After graduating from St. Viator Catholic High School, Nancy went to work as a photographer for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This career served her well later in life when she was raising her five children. It was hard to get away with much when your mom worked for the FBI!

Nancy was introduced to Ed Miller in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin by her beloved sister Geri. Years later she would tease and say, "I still owe you one!"

Ed and Nancy fell in love and were married on October 12, 1957. They were married for 58 years and he precedes her in death.

Nancy was an incredibly kind, smart, and extremely loving mom. She is survived by her children Mark (Paula) Miller, Kathryn (Dana) Fecher and David (Sue) Miller.

She was a fun-loving grandmother to Stephanie( Jacob) Goudeau, Kyle (Megan) Miller, Brian Gray (Joe Grimaldi), Zachary (Renata) Fecher, E.J. Miller, Kaleigh Miller, Hannah Fecher, Carrie Miller, Annie Miller, Noah Miller and Terra Miller.

She was Great Grandma Nanny to Griffin, Emmeline and Poppy Goudeau and Elijah, Cameron and Milo Miller.

She was an amazing Aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

Nancy was an incredible friend and was loved by so many in all of the communities she lived in. She always had a positive outlook on life, a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye when there was an adventure about to begin.

She was a fantastic cook. She excelled in canning every fruit and vegetable that came out of the garden. She was a master baker. Her brownies, banana bread, melting moments and her famous "secret recipe cheesecake" made her a legend.

Nancy was a strong Christian woman. She loved the Lord and led by example.

She made her own greeting cards. She carefully chose her stamps. It is thought that she single-handedly kept the USPS running by sending cards and packages out to loved ones for holidays and "just because."

She is preceded in death by her husband Edward as well her two dear sons Edward (Sandy) Miller and Jefferey (Natalie) Miller.

She had a life well lived. She will be dearly missed every single day.

We are quite certain when she was entered heaven the Lord said, "Hallelujah, Nancy! You're home."
