In Loving Memory
Nancy Kelley, 79, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, surrounded by family.
Caring for others wasn't just something Nancy did, it was who she was. She had a quiet way of showing up, doing the right thing, and making everyone around her feel supported.
Born on May 30, 1946, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Earl and Virginia Barnes. As the oldest of eight siblings, she was affectionately known as the "saint" of the family and was, in every meaningful way, its heart and steady guide.
Nancy was many things: a devoted wife and mother, a sister, an expert listener, and a constant source of encouragement. She was your biggest cheerleader, the loudest clapper in the stands, and the one who noticed when someone needed extra care. Her family was the center of her universe, and her home was where holidays turned into traditions, with tables full, conversations long, and no one ever leaving hungry.
She dedicated her life to nursing and healthcare, serving as Practice Manager for Primary Pediatrics for 19 years. Nancy was often the last to leave at night and the first to volunteer her Saturdays for flu clinics. She also helped shape and lead customer service training for IHA, guided by her belief that compassion mattered just as much as efficiency.
Nancy's strength was steady and quiet. She had an unmatched work ethic and a remarkable ability to be there when it mattered most. She taught her children how to be kind and set a powerful example through the way she lived and worked.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Dick; her children Kevin (Julie), Scott (Sandy), Lori, and Tricia (Rob); her cherished grandchildren- Jordan, Brendan, Quinn, Landon, Claire, Grace, Emma, Chase, and Caden- along with her siblings and a wide circle of friends who are better for having known her.
