Michael J. Kelly was born on August 5th, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Darlene Kelly and John Kelly. He was the oldest of three brothers, with siblings Scott and Sean. Michael was a loving husband to Carol Kelly, a proud father to Mitchell, Sydni, Ashley, and Matrix, and a devoted grandfather to Wyatt and Leo. He left this world on January 13th, 2025, at the age of 65.

A dedicated CPA and owner of his own accounting firm, Michael built lasting relationships with his clients. Above all, he was a proud father, loyal friend, and aspiring pilot with his head and heart always in the clouds.

Michael had a remarkable ability to command any room with his confidence, charisma, and infectious sense of humor. He knew how to capture attention and keep everyone's spirits high, effortlessly delivering perfectly timed puns, groan-worthy one-liners, and a playful charm that invited both laughter and lighthearted eye-rolls. But it wasn't just the jokes—it was his energy, his knack for making everyone feel included, as though they were all part of the fun. Michael used humor not only to entertain but to connect with those around him, and his joy was contagious in the best possible way.

Michael had many passions, including golfing, nature, and sharing his knowledge. Always curious, he loved learning about anything that piqued his interest. His enthusiasm for life left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Michael's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, humor, and wisdom will live on in our hearts. Though he left us too soon, we will cherish the memories and lessons he shared with us.

A private service will be held, and the interment will be in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
