Michael Bernard Flanagan, age 90.

Mike Flanagan was born in Clonbern, Ireland in 1927. He came to the USA as a young man and married Rose O'Hare. Shortly after the wedding he was shipped out to Korea where he served honorably for 16 months during the war. Once paperwork was completed he was sworn in as a US citizen in Incheon, Korea.
Upon his return he was the proud father of nine children, two of whom have gone before him, Anne Burke and Mikey Flanagan. He is survived by his remaining seven children, Sheila Withers, Patrick Flanagan, Rose Colton, Kathleen Flanagan, Edward Flanagan, Sally Renkes and Michele Wyngard. In addition he had twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
His lovely wife Rose predeceased him on November 25, 1997. Today, they are dancing together in Heaven. Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi Friday 4-8pm.
In state at St. James Church 46325 Ten Mile Novi Saturday 10:00a, until the funeral Liturgy at 10:30am.
