Chirio, Michael Lawrence Jr. February 2, 2023. Age 91. Beloved husband of Barbara of 70 years. Loving father of Michele (Brian) Hoxie, Philip (Angela) Chirio, Anne (Bryan) Logan, David (Kelly) Chirio and the late Paul, Christopher, Lawrence and Patricia. Father-in-law of Al Steinhauser and Sally Chirio. Proud grandfather of Angela (Max), Aleksandrus, Kristen (Pilar), Allyson (Enrico), Kevin, Theresa (Joseph), Laura, Lindsay (Brian) and James (Katie), Jourdan (Maureen) and Theadora (Dalton). Proud great grandfather of 15 great grand children. Dear brother of Barbara Powers. Mr. Chirio was a Retired Lieutenant Colonel after 24 years service in the United States Army. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting and spending time relaxing at the family cottage in Edenville, Michigan. Visitation Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 3-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi 248-348-1800, with a rosary at 7pm. Liturgy 10:30 am Friday, February 17, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church 24505 Meadowbrook Rd. Novi, MI. Interment of cremated remains Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
