Maureen Elizabeth Toohey, 85, passed away October 5, 2013 at Clare Bridge of Farmington Hills.
She was born June 15, 1928 in Bronx, New York, to Thomas and Frances (Hufnagel) Gorman.   She was a graduate of Mt. St. Ursula High School in Bronx, and was a resident of Sarasota, Florida, Naperville, IL, and Michigan. She had a passion for gardening and decorating, but mostly enjoyed the time spent with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her 5 children, Anne Marie (Richard) Moore of Milton, FL, Christine (Roland) Trombley of Commerce Township, MI, Patrice Toohey of Wilmington, NC, Timothy (Jennifer) Toohey of Chicago, IL, and Terrence Toohey of Evanston, IL; and her 4 grandchildren, Megan, Jack, Connor, and Lizzie.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church, 2215 Opdyke Road, Bloomfield Hills, on Tuesday, October 8, at 11 AM.  The family will receive friends starting at 10:30 AM until the mass.
Inurnment will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, MI.
