Schley, Mary Ellen, Age 90 of Dearborn Heights and most recently, Novi. Loving mother of Lori (Rich) Corl. Dear grandmother of Andrew Richard and Robert Gerald Corl. Loving aunt of Ena Reintjes. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Gerald A. Schley; her parents, Herman and Marie Mack and her sister, Margaret Sergeant. Mary Ellen will be deeply missed by family and friends. She worked as an elementary school teacher in the Crestwood School District, where she spent decades teaching children to love reading and learning. At Lori's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, the family has requested for any donations to be sent to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Michigan Humane Society or simply plant a garden to enjoy the serenity that Mary Ellen felt when she was gardening.
