Mary Patricia "Pat" Brown
May 28, 1945 –March 30, 2025
Mary "Pat" Brown, a devoted mother, proud grandmother, loving sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 79. Born on May 28, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Pat lived a life full of adventure, service, and dedication to family and community.
Pat was the beloved mother of Charlie (Donna) Borst, Scott Brown, and Tim Taylor. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Jessica, Erica, and Matthew. She was also a loving sister to Margaret "Bonnie" Myles and companion to Howard Smith.
A woman of many talents and passions, Pat followed in her mother's footsteps, building a career in real estate as an appraiser and broker. Her love for travel led her to work as a travel agent, helping others explore the world as she did. She also spent time working in the wine industry, a reflection of her appreciation for life's finer pleasures.
Pat had an adventurous spirit—she traveled extensively, skied, played golf, and embraced every opportunity to experience new places and cultures. She had a generous heart, dedicating her time to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping to build homes for families in the Philippines and Georgia. A passionate advocate for her beliefs, she was active in the Republican Party and served as a local delegate, always engaging in her community with dedication and conviction.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 16, 2025, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi from 4:00-8:00pm
A celebration of Pat's life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 17, 2025, at noon. Interment in Mt Hope Cemetery.
Pat's legacy is one of love, adventure, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Donations may be made in her honor to Silver Wings Care Management P.O. Box 6709 Spring Hill, FL, 34611.
