Mary Emily Connors (née Noon)

Mary Emily Connors (née Noon), born June 10, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Edward and Bridget Noon passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026.
Mary was a devoted mother of seven children and the heart of her family. She was a gifted seamstress and faithfully served for many years managing the rectory at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, where her kindness, diligence, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was the beloved mother of Mary Connors; Jamie (Danny) DiMartino; Kevin (Beth) Connors; Bridget (Mike) Rouhan; Sheila (Dan) McKeon; Matthew Connors; and the late Christine Lakin. She was also the cherished mother-in-law of Doug Lakin.
Mary was a loving sister to the late Archie Noon and the late Eleanor Shefski, and a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and pride. Former wife of Hughie Connors
Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at O'Brien & Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi. A sharing of memories will take place at 3:30pm
Mary will lie in state Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 W. Ten Mile Road, Novi, until the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Milford, Michigan.

Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her unwavering faith, devotion to family, and a life well lived.
