Obituary

Mary Ann O'Hara passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, kindness, and quiet service to others.

Mary Ann was a devoted mother to Brian O'Hara, Maureen (Collin) Kebo, and Ed (Robin) O'Hara. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Sean, Ryan, Nicolas, Kirstin, Meehan, and Ireland, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She was the beloved sister of the late Richard Drew and the late Michael Drew, and a cherished aunt to Carolin Tennington, Diane Pollack, Christine Foor, and Colleen Watson. Mary Ann was also the former wife of the late Timothy Patrick.

Mary Ann was a devoted member of Holy Family Church, where her faith served as the foundation of her life. During the parish's early years, she generously volunteered as a catechism teacher for more than a decade and served on numerous church committees, helping to build and strengthen the parish community. In recent years, she faithfully served as a sacristan and was deeply committed to the ministry of intercessory prayer, always lifting others up with compassion and devotion.

Mary Ann also dedicated many years of volunteer service to Providence Park Hospital. She found great joy in delivering flowers to patients, offering not only a thoughtful gesture but also a warm smile and kind words that brightened countless days. A lifelong lover of books, she could often be found with a good novel in hand or browsing the shelves of her local library.

Whether through her service to her church, her volunteer work, or the love she shared with family and friends, Mary Ann lived a life marked by kindness, humility, generosity, and a sincere concern for the well-being of others. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm heart, unwavering faith, and the love she so freely gave to her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, Michigan 48375.
