Marilyn J. Smith passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in West Bloomfield Township at the age of 83.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew, her great-nieces and great-nephews, and the many dear friends she made throughout her life and long professional career. She spent many dedicated years as a Human Resource Manager for an accounting firm, where her warmth, professionalism, and generosity touched the lives of countless colleagues and friends.
Friends are invited to visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi (248-348-1800). A Rosary service will follow at 7:00 PM.
Marilyn will lie in state at the Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Marilyn's kindness, strength, and unwavering support of those around her will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
