Marilyn C. "Gramma Buddy" Sigouin
July 19, 1939 – November 24, 2024

Marilyn C. Sigouin, lovingly known as "Gramma Buddy," passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in South Lyon, Michigan, at the age of 85.

Born to Leonard "Stubby" Gentile and Elsie Gentile on October 16, 1939, Marilyn was a beacon of love and kindness, whose warmth touched all who knew her. She was a devoted wife to Donald Sigouin and a proud and nurturing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Marilyn's life revolved around her family. She was a beloved mother to Lori (Dave) Zaran and Jeff (Gloria) Sigouin. She cherished her grandchildren, Rachel (Joe) Mendez, Natalie (Brendan) Roberts, Alex (Gabriella) Zaran, Gracie Sigouin, and Phillip (Abby) Sigouin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Sofia and Cecilia Mendez. Her nieces, Kathy (Jeff) Zanola, Christine (Keith) Yancy, Ann (Bruce) Ankeny, and Teri (Doug) Hancock, also held a special place in her heart.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lori Zaran; her brother, Charlie Gentile; and her parents, Leonard and Elsie Gentile.

A gathering to celebrate Marilyn's life will take place at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 West 10 Mile Road, Novi, Michigan, on Friday, December 13, 2024. Family and friends are invited to gather at 9:30 a.m., with a memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin a cause close to Marilyn's heart.

Marilyn's love, humor, and unshakable faith will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
